Integra4Notes, the Microsoft Office integration and reporting tool for IBM’s Lotus Notes environment, has announced the forming of a strategic and commercial partnership with PSC Group LLC, the IT and professional services consultancy and Lotus Award 2007 winners, to introduce Integra4Notes to its existing and potential customer base.

Integra4Notes delivers automated integration with Microsoft Office and enhances printing, reporting and analysis of data contained within the Lotus Notes environment allowing users, developers and administrators to generate reports to Office without modifying the design of their databases and without the need to install files on Domino servers or local machines.

John D. Head, development manager at PSC and globally respected expert in Microsoft Office integration, says of Integra4Notes; “the ease of use and depth of functionality available in Integra will immediately benefit PSC and our customer base - it gets the major part of the integration and reporting function done quickly, freeing up their time to concentrate on other projects. While many of the challenges in MS-Office integration are handled by Integra, we can offer our specialized Microsoft knowledge and services to leverage the advanced features within Integra to meet the most complex report requirements.

“This partnership with PSC, who are such a major player in the Notes/Domino space with particular skills in Office integration, strengthens our position as leaders in integration and reporting in both the Microsoft and Notes camps,” said John de Giorgio, CEO, Integra4Notes. “We are looking forward to a strong relationship which rewards us both with deeper penetration of the market.”

Integra enables the user to leverage their Microsoft expertise and take advantage of mail merge, pivot tables and graphs from Notes from within Integra – allowing flexible and functional analysis for little effort” added Head.  “There’s nothing like this on the market, which is why we have chosen to partner with Integra.”

This has been a long time coming, and some will say long overdue, but this partnership will be much of my focus for 2007. When integrating Notes and Office, I spend so much time working on the foundation pieces. Yes, I have a set of libraries that has my core features, but we have always struggled for a great starting point. Something that is polished, easy to install, easy to maintain with different versions of Notes and Office, and provides easy web and PDF capabilities. Integra4Notes gives us that foundation.

Going forward, that starting point will be Integra4Notes for all reports and Excel and Word integration. I personally believe that this is going to be the best way to deliver high value solutions for the right price to customers. And I plan on showing others why I think that.

I am going to blog more about Integra4Notes and why we made this strategic partnership in the coming weeks. I will also cover some of the technical stuff on what makes Integra4Notes a great starting point for any developer doing integration with Notes and Office.

PSC is, and I am personally, super excited to be working with John, Denis, Julienne, and all the other folks at Shireburn and Integra4Notes.
